For the women and girls who fly high.
Join us for a fun and meaningful day at the East Village as we celebrate the triumphs and achievements of the women and girls of Batonga—and to ensure that they, and more women and girls fly to new heights.
Proceeds from this special event will help support our work to educate and empower women and girls in rural communities in Benin and Senegal.

This brunch is a celebration of the power of the young women and girls of Batonga, breaking barriers and becoming valued young leaders in their communities.
And who better to lead the celebration than Batonga’s very own founder, Angélique Kidjo. Having recently been given a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame—the first black African artist to do so—Angélique is set to grace us with an energetic performance of her award-winning and barrier-breaking music.
A special performance from Batonga’s founder.
Proceeds from the event will directly support the following Batonga programs:
Adolescent Girls Leadership
Women’s Economic Empowerment
Radio and Digital Program
